Mrs. Oliver, daughter of the late Frank and Sallie Roberts, was born and reared in Caruthersville, living in St. Louis for several years after marrying Arthur Oliver, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Oliver returned here to make her home.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. James Oliver, curator of the reptile division of the Brox zoo and John Oliver of St. Louis; three sisters, Miss Floyd Roberts of Caruthersville, Mrs. W.J. Hodgeson of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Mrs. Nell Cedarholm, who lives in the east.
No funeral arrangements had been made when this paper went to press, matters being delayed pending the arrival of Dr. Oliver.

Mrs. Mary Roberts Oliver, 70, was born September 25, 1885, in Caruthersville, the daughter of the late Frank and Sallie Roberts and died at her home here last Thursday, February 23 after an illness of about two years.
She spent her early years in this city, going to St. Louis to live after her marriage to Arthur L. Oliver, who preceded her in death many years ago. After her husband's death, she returned to this city and made her home with a sister, Miss Floyd Roberts.
She leaves two sons, Dr. Jas. Oliver, curator of the reptile division of the Bronx zoo, who lives in Pleasantville, N.Y. and John R. Oliver, of St. Louis; three sisters, Miss Roberts of this city, Mrs. W.J. Hobson of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Mrs. Nell Cedarholm of Merchantsville, N.J.; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Frank Tucker of Cape Girardeau at the LaForge Undertaking Company chapel Saturday morning and the body was taken to Memphis for cremation. The ashes were buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Fruitland, Mo. at the side of her husband.
