Gifton "Buddy" Eugene Rush, Jr., 74, of Clanton died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2010 at his residence. He was born on Monday, March 26, 1934 in Chilton County, son of the late Gifton Eugene Rush, Sr. and the late Della West Rush. He was a retired Aircraft Mechanic with the Air Force. He was also an avid Alabama fan.
Surving are his two daughters, Kim (Greg) Lolley of Prattville, Wendy Rush of Huntingtown, MD; two grandsons; three granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Merle Rush.
Services will be today, Dec. 9, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Strattis officiating. Interment will follow in Lomax Church of Christ. Martin Funeral Home directing.
