Abe was born in Wrightsville, on December 14, 1941, a son of the late Abraham L. Abel, Sr. and Isabella (Martzel) Abel.
He retired from U.S. Lock and Hardware as a molder.
In addition to his wife, Abe is survived by two sons, Antonio Abel and his wife, Debra of Edgewood, Wash., and Kelly Abel and his wife, Sheila of New Bridgeville; two grandchildren, Heather Kreiger and her husband, Kyle, and Jeremy Abel; a great-grandson, Trevor Abel; two sisters, Dawn Leiphart of Dallastown and Darlene Myers of York; and a brother, Stephen Abel.
Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
