Called 'Diamond Jim' by his friends for his relentless search for the "mother-lode", Grandpa was loved by all who knew him. The summers we spent at his copper mine in Arizona will always be etched in my loving memories of him.
He did find the 'mother-lode', which enabled him to retire in comfort, and with the knowledge that he was good at what he loved and lived to do, a miner!
We miss you Grandpa!
