John Burris, aged 28 years, died at 3:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon at his residence, 3521 Holmes street. He is survived by his wife and three daughters. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the residence. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Mr. Burris was a member of the Carpenters' Union, Local No. 198. He was a native of Tippecanoe County, Indiana, and had lived in Dallas for five years.
