Born in Wildwood, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Elsie Ott Shurmann.
A kind and gentle woman, she loved to read, do gardening and keep up with current affairs.
Mrs. Kittinger is survived by her husband, Glover, son, Richard and his wife Debra of Atlanta, GA, son Jerry of Norman, OK, son Barry and his wife Joanne of Pennsville, daughter Victoria Strouse of Sugarland, TX, her grandchildren, Regina Marvin, Jason Kittinger, Mark Strouse, Anna Strouse, Claire Kittinger, Sara Grimm and David Kittinger, and her great grandchildren, Gabi Marvin, Jacob Kittinger, and Lance Grimm. She is also survived by her sisters, Lucy Erikson, Agnes McManus and Dorothy Richardson and her brother, Richard Schurmann.
A viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 PM in the ASHCRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 740 S. Broadway, Pennsville.
Graveside services and interment will be held 11 AM Wednesday in the Seaville United Methodist Church Cemetery
