CASTLE GATE, Carbon County- Welber A. Hardee, 60, died of natural causes in a Dragerton hospital Wednesday, 2 a.m.

Born Feb. 14, 1904, Castle Gate, to Alma Nephi and Mary Margaret Jones Hardee. Married Edna May Reese Dec. 22, 1925 in Price. Coal miner. Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Member United Mine Workers of America, Local 5916.

Survivors: widow, Castle Gate; four daughters, Mrs. Bruce (Elaine) Johnson, Mrs. Mike (Dorothy) Vlamakis, Mrs. Boyd (Joyce) Newbold and MRs. Henry (Gwen) Coleman, all of Salt Lake City; 12 grandchildren; brother, sisters; Edwin E., Salt Lake City; Mrs. Tom (May) Hilton, Castle Gate; Mrs. Saline Fraser, Helper; Mrs. Denny (Annie) Kolzani, Price.

Funeral Saturday 1 p.m., Castle Gate LDS Ward chapel. Friends call at Mitchell Funeral Home, Price, Thursday and Friday, and at ward Chapel one hour prior to service. Burial, Price City Cemetery.
