Was a Resident of Butler Township 60 Years; Leaves Husband and Four Children.
Mrs. Sabina Ober Heitz, wife of Joseph Heitz, passed away at the home, four miles south of Garrett at 5:05 o'clock Monday morning after a week's illness with pneumonia and heart trouble.
Mrs. Heitz was born in Bedford county, Pa., October 29, 1860, but had been a resident of Butler township is this county for three score years. She and Mr. Heitz were married thirty-nine years ago.
Surviving besides the husband are four children, Mrs. Francis E. Parker of Fort Wayne, Miss Audrey and Arthur Heitz, at home, and Walter Heitz of Butler township. There are also three brothers, Arthur, Perry and Ober of Butler township, and two sisters, Mrs. Henry Yarde and Mrs. William Gump of Keyser township, northwest of Garrett. Another sister, Mrs. Merritt Hanson, is dead.
Mrs. Heitz was a member of the Brethern church at Cedar.
Funeral services will be held at Cedar Chapel Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Revs. T.G. Weaver and O.W. Rariden officiating. Burial will be made in the adjacent cemetery.
