Anton was also called into service of World War I the same year. This war took him to France and he was on the Burial Corp. After a year in service Anton and his wife Ellen settled down on a farm west of Bloomfield.
Three sons and three daughters were born on to this union. Viastimil was born April 15, 1920, married Romona Bogner from Crofton in 1941. He passed away as result of WWII.
Donald was born August 23, 1921, married Eva Sukup from Verdigre in 1942. He passed away as result of WWII.
Joe was born March 20, 1923, was lost in the attack on Pearl Harbor Dec. 7, 1942.
Betty was born November 25, 1926, married Romayne Ellis from Crofton 1946.
Antionette was born September 30, 1929, married Williard Drobny from Verdigre in 1946.
Anton and Ellen moved on their own farm south of Bloomfield in 1948 and retired in 1958 in the city of Bloomfield.
