Marion (Butler) Vegly, age 90 of Sandwich, IL, passed away Sunday March 3, 2002 at Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion, Sandwich, IL. She was born September 2, 1911 in Elgin, IL the daughter of Harvey and Hannah (Maron) Butler.
Marion was united in marriage to Edward Vegly on June 18, 1955 in Sandwich. Marion retired from CTS Nights in Sandwich where she had been employed for over 25 years. She was a member of the Federated Church, Sandwich.
Survivors include two brothers Edward Butler of Aurora, Carl (Fran) Butler of Boulder Hill, one sister Juanita (William) Hall of Aurora, and a sister-in-law Mary Butler of Sandwich.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, Earl, Clifford and Harry, three sisters Ethel, Rosella, and Bessie.
Funeral services for Marion will be held on Wednesday March 6, 2002 at 1:30 PM at Burkhart Funeral Home, Sandwich, IL. Rev. Kenneth Ritchie will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Somonauk, IL.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2002 from 12:30 PM until the time of service at 1:30 PM at Burkhart Funeral Home, Sandwich.
