Frank Adams Dies
The community was shocked to hear of the untimely death last Thursday night of Frank Adams, son of Mrs. Mary C. Adams, at his home in Detroit, Mich. Frank passed away suddenly a short time after retiring that evening, after having worked as usual during the day. Death was caused by a heart attack, physicians said.

Frank Mason Adams was born at Delphos, Kansas, on March 6, 1909, and died at Detroit, Mich., on October 22, 1942, aged 33 years.

He attended Delphos schools and graduated with the class of 1927. After graduation, he was employed by the International Harvester company. Later he took up milling as a profession, and entered the employ of the Delphos Milling company, where he advanced to head miller. In 1936 he moved to Chelsea, Mich., to a similar position and later transferred to the Commercial Milling company, Detroit, largest mill in Michigan, where he later became superintendent of the institution.

He was married to Mary M. Gary at Wymore, Nebraska, on January 2, 1936.

Frank's father, the late John R. Adams, preceded him in death when Frank was but four months of age. He is survived by his widow, Mary M. Adams, of Detroit, Mich., his mother, Mary C. Adams, of Delphos; and four brothers: John O., of Osborne, Charles E. of Santa Monica, Cal., William A. of Glasco, Kansas, and Alva S. of Delphos.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church Tuesday afternoon, the pastor, Rev. H.G. Feldmann, in charge. A male quartet composed of Rev. Feldmann, W.J. Hutchison, H.D. Hoskins and G.F. Griggs, sang three beautiful numbers, accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Feldmann. The body was borne to its last resting place in the Delphos Cemetery by close friends and classmates of the deceased, Roscoe Bourne, Clarence Gain, Vincent Steinbrock, Wm. Griese, J.P. Morrison and J.R. Manuel. The Hartley funeral service conducted the service.
