Son of Lydia A. (Whetsol/Whitsol Cox) and Franklin Pierce Mizer - sibling of Emanuel Theophilous, Martha, Mary A., Walter, Nora Grace - father of Delilah, Hazel E., Florence Lydia and May Ludia (triplets - it appears only Hazel survived), Elsie Irene and Norman Albertus.

Albert was living with his parents and brother, Walter, in Dallas Township by 1905. Albert was a farmer and a carpenter. In 1917 (WWI Draft Card) he was employed as a carpenter by Dan Mizer of Dallas. He married Ella Lena Anderson, daughter of Ole and Mary (Christensdatter Harison) Anderson, on June 8, 1910 in Dallas.
