Private services for Henry E. "Hank" Rasmussen, 52, who died in Portland Wednesday, are scheduled for 1p.m. Friday at Vancouver Funeral Chapel. Final rites and interment are to be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Tahoma Cemetery in Yakima.
Employed as an auto mechanic, Rasmussen lived in Vancouver since 1959 residing at 4002 East 15th St. at the time of his death. He was born May 11, 1921 in Hesperoe, Alta., Canada.
He is survived by his widow, Margaret at home; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Herb Sturdevent of Vernonia, Ore,; two sons, Edward of Seattle and DEnnis with the U.S. Navy; a step-son, Dick Robinett of Portland; two brothers, Earl of Yakima and Lyle Barker of Vernonia; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Watkins of Norwalk, Calif., and five grandchildren.

Henry Edward Rasmussen, 52, of 4002 E. 15th, Vancouver, Wash., died Wednesday in Veterans Hospital, Portland, after an extended illness.
Mr. Rasmussen was born in Hespero, Alberta, Canada. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Margaret Rasmussen of Vancouver; two sons, Edward of Seattle and Dennis with the U.S. Army; a stepson, Dick Robinett of Portland; three grandchildren; his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Herb Sturdevant of Vernonia, Ore.; a brother, Earl of Union Gap; a halfbrother, Lyle Barker of Vernonia; and a sister, Mrs. Dale (Dorothy) Watkins of Norwalk, Calif.
