Margie Stringer Lamb, age 88, of Huntsville, died on Sunday January 2, 2011 at South Hampton Nursing and Rehab Center.
Funeral services in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville with David Edgar officiating. Burial in Flint River Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Lamb was a longtime member and Sunday School Teacher at the Flint river Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, J. D. Lamb; her parents, Cecil and Mattie Stringer; her great granddaughter, Mallory Lee Wright; her brothers, Edward and Carl Stringer; and her sister, Betty Sharp.
Mrs. Lamb is survived by her daughter, Patricia Kelsoe and husband Tim of Cullman, AL; her son, Dan Lamb and wife Tricia of Huntsville; her brother, Danny Stringer; her grandchildren, Greg Edwards, Daniel Lamb, Matthew Lamb, Tessia Wright, and Tiffany Edmondson; 6 great grandchildren; and her nephew, Robert Earl Sharp.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of South Hampton Nursing and Rehab Center for the care given to Mrs. Lamb during her stay.
