Jack served with the 2nd Engineer Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division in Korea in 1968.

He was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident while working in Florida in 1983 and lost the use of his legs. He struggled mightily. He found Jesus (actually He was always there) and would minister to the street people. He started a prison ministry and was a comfort to many.

His cremains were scattered into the Atlantic from the shore in Scituate, MA in late October 1991. The next day the "Perfect Storm" hit the New England coast. Was it a coincidence?
