Fedora was born November 1, 1934 in Piane Crati, Cosenza, Italy and had been a resident of Northern California for most of her adult life. She immigrated to the U.S. through Edmonton, Canada. She was a life-long seamstress, co-owner of a family restaurant, and dedicated spare time by assisting at Sherwood School in Salinas and as a caregiver to those in need. Her passions included spending time with family and her grandkids and great-grandkids. She will fondly be remembered for her spiritual nature and for always being ready to give a helping hand.
She is survived by her children, Joseph Rusconi of Soledad, Francesco Rusconi of Soledad, Maria (Robert Gonzales) Rusconi of Soledad; grandchildren, Clara (Victor) Sanchez, Luke Rusconi, Sofia Rusconi, Devon Rusconi, Bailee Rusconi, all of Soledad; great-grandchildren, Marisa, Victor, Jr., Ariana Sanchez, all of Soledad; brothers, Rudolph Tosto of Canada, Julio (Gina) Tosto of San Jose, Mario Tosto of Salinas; sister, Josephina Oliverio of San Jose.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Francesco & Chaira Tosto; brothers, Peter and Mario Tosto; sister, Maria Tosto; sister-in-law, Tecla Tosto; brother-in-law, Paul Oliverio; and granddaughter, Lakin Dreanne.
Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, Jan. 6, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Solitude Catholic Church, 235 Main St, Soledad, Calif. 93960.
Friends may visit two hours prior to service time, Thursday, Jan. 6, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church.
A reception will be held at the church hall following services.
Graveside Committal be will be held Friday, Jan. 7, at 11 a.m. at Soledad Cemetery, 1711 Metz Road, Soledad.
