Karim Dimo, of Ann Arbor, Age 86, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2011. He was born April 1, 1924 in Jerusalem. Karim was extremely proud of his American citizenship and one of his favorite phrases was "God Bless America". He was a great husband, father and grandfather. Karim was devoted to his family and his church, Saints Peter and Paul Syriac Orthodox Church in Southfield where he was a member of the Board of Directors for many many years. Karim traveled extensively all over the world and enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be deeply missed by his survivors who include his wife, Mary, his children; May (Habib) Shammas, Maha (Saliba) Hazou and Walid (Mary) Dimo, daughter in law, Robin Dimo, grandchildren; Mary, Joseph, Deena, Daniel, Michael, Issa, Alexis, Khalid and Christian. In addition, Karim is survived by many other family and friends. Karim was preceded in death by his son, Wael Dimo.


Memorials:

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Saints Peter and Paul Syriac Orthodox Church.
