Later from Iowa State College was an Extension Home Economist of Ringgold & Taylor Counties. On May 11, 1941, she married Lester Joseph Iverson at her home in Popejoy. The couple farmed in the Ellsworth area.
She is survived by sons, Dr. Ross Iverson, Marshalltown and Boyd Iverson, Ellsworth; daughter, Cleta Norcross, Suffolk, VA; grandchildren, Erik, Jess, Brett & Cort Iverson and James & Sarah Norcross; and sisters, Neva Hall, Albion and Alice Ellingson, Alden. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1989; brothers, Melvin, Dale, Maurice and Garth.
