Laura E. Stigleman, living six miles northeast of Elwood, died at her home at 2:50 o'clock this morning of complications. She had been ill the last three years. Born in Miami county, Indiana, April 10, 1861, she was the daughter of James and Elizabeth Graham. She was married to Walter Stigleman August 11, 1887. He survives.
Mrs. Stigleman was a member of Christian Science Mother church of Boston. Survivors include the husband, a daughter, Mrs. Robert Tobias of near Elwood; two grandchildren and a great grandchild.
(She was preceded in death by an infant son, her son Roy, and granddaughter Rosamond.)
The body is at the Robert L. Jackley funeral home where friends may call. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Jackley funeral home. A Christian Science reader will officiate. Burial will be made in the Santa Fee cemetery at Santa Fee.
