Mrs. Laura V. Poole, wife of Charles E. Poole, died at her home in Adamstown, Sunday night at 10 o'clock, of general debility, aged 70 years, 3 months, and 11 days.
Besides her husband, she is survived by the following children: C. Vernon and Hays R. Poole, and Mrs. W. E. Freeman; seven grandchildren; one brother, Samuel K. Hays; and one sister, Mrs. C. P. Nichols.
Funeral services will take place from her late residence Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville. C.E. Cline and Son, funeral directors.
