OGDEN - Vola B. McKean, 83, died Wednesday, April 22, 1992 at the home of her daughter in Pendleton, Oregon.
Mrs. McKean was born on September 18, 1908, in Ogden, the daughter of Charles and Aleatha Grey Blair.
She married Roy McKean on July 21, 1934, in Ogden. He died in 1968.
She was a member of the Ogden 7th LDS Ward and had resided in the ward for 75 years.
She resided her entire life in Ogden until October, 1991, when she moved to Pendleton, Oregon to live with her daughter.
She was a self employed seamstress all of her life. She also did needlework and crocheting.
Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Vance (Conie) Wilson, Pendleton, Oregon; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Rodney K (Connie) McKean, Ogden, Utah; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Burt (Glena) Blumel, Salt Lake City; Mrs. L. B. (Bernice) Smith, Ogden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Rodney, and one daughter, Roylene.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, 11 a.m. at the Myers Mortuary Chapel where friends may call, Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Monday fro 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment will be in the Ogden City Cemetery.
