Death came Saturday to Mrs. Fannie Kinney Hitch of Decatur. She had suffered for several years of asthma which flared up a few days ago along with lung fever and she passed. She had been for the last 12 years a devoted worker in the First Christian church. She was always in attendance when her health permitted.

She was born in Bracken county, Ky, Dec. 26, 1858, and was 58 years old. During the last 12 years she has made her home in Decatur. She leaves one daughter, Miss Carlia Hitch with whom she has made her home. Carlia Hitch worked for the Herald.

Two other daughters died, one in infancy and the other, Mrs. Anna Spicer in 1908. She leaves 4 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, sisters, Mrs. R.C. Batte, Mrs. J.H. Batte and Mrs. Taylor Breeze all of Kentucky.

Funeral services will be Monday in the First Christian church.
