Quincy Bell Acree , a retired food service waitress, died Tueday at her Coden residence. She was 61. Mrs. Acree was a native of Mobile.

She is survived by a daughter, Faye J. Teal of Coden; two sons, James Edward Nix of Montgomery and Forrest Lee Acree of Semmes; two sisters, Gertrude Byrd of Citronelle and Lila Byrd of Mount Vernon; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled this evening from 5 to 8 at Serenity Funeral Home. The funeral is set for Thursday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with interment at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
