Pvt. Alberry Bryant enlisted in the Calhoun Beauregards, Co. A, 26-50th Alabama Infantry Regiment on May 1, 1862, joining his twin brother, Alfred. He died, probably of disease, in camp near Tupelo, Mississippi, two months later. He left a widow, Elizabeth M. Bryant, who filed a claim and was awarded his back pay, bounty, and a commutation for clothing.
