Pauline was the daughter of Michael Bassler and Christiana Wolf. On 09 Jul 1881 she and her family arrived in New York having sailed from Antwerp, Belgium. On 12 Oct 1895 she married Charles Willman and they had five children: Robert, George, Archie, an unnamed infant boy and Walter. Lena died of arteriosclerotic heart disease at her home, 1867 Kendall Lane, at the age of 79.
