John Forbes died October 24, 1829 in York County, South Carolina (Find a Grave Memorial No. 11549380) and Rebecca moved to Parke County, Indiana to be with family. She died there on April 4, 1834 and is laid to rest in the Seceder Presbyterian Church Cemetery, also known as Portland Mills Cemetery.
