88, of Oneida, passed away May 8, 2007, at Garden Terrace Nursing Home in Fort Worth, Texas. Born in Oneida, July 26, 1918, she was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Rose Marcum Terry. She received a B.S. in Home Economics from Berea College and an M.S. in Home Economics from the University of Tennessee. She taught home economics at Oneida, Huntsville, and Polk County High Schools. She is survived by her children: Allen T. Harrison of Birmingham, MI, and Sara Sohmer of Fort Worth, Texas; three grandchildren, and many other relatives. Funeral service was conducted May 12, in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Denny Ford officiating. Interment followed in Litton Cemetery in Oneida. Jones & Son Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
