James Duke Sr., 89 of Fort Smith died Friday, January 14, 2011 in his home.
He was a former employee for Jim Massey Salvage, a lifelong resident of this area and he enjoyed woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Lee Farrow Dukes, his brothers & sisters.
He is survived by two daughters, Sharon Kay Mahan of Fort Smith, Martha Dehart of Union City, Oklahoma; four sons, James Dukes Jr. of Alma, John & Jack Dukes both of Fort Smith, Jessie Dukes of Snowflakes, Arizona; sixteen grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday January 17th 2011 at 1:00pm
at Ocker-Putman Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith with Rev. Herschel McClurkin officiating.
Pallbearers: Bobby Dehart, Bobby Dehart Jr., John Dukes, John Dukes Jr., Samantha Dehart, Jim Dukes.
