Amos served our country in the United States Army in the 1950's where he was stationed in Korea.
On November 3, 1962 he married Pamela Angell at the Christ Church in Kennebunk.
Following his military service he was employed at KK&W Water District for a time. He then owned and operated Boyden's Market in West Kennebunk during the 1960's and 1970's. He later went on to be the owner and operator of Lord and Brooks Plumbing and Heating from 1978 until his retirement in 2005.
Amos was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed working on old trucks and tractors in his spare time.
