A member of Salem Lutheran Church, Jacobus, she was born in Springfield Township, a daughter of the late Paul G. and Emma Taylor Krout. She was a member of the National Retired School Teachers Association.
Surviving also are two daughters, Mrs. Kathryn S. Goad, Arlington Va.; Mrs. James Easton, Mt. Wolf RD1; three grandchildren; two sisters Mrs. Paul B. Rohrbaugh, Glen Rock, and Mrs. Claude B. Rohrbaugh, Seven Valleys RD 2.
Her pastor, Rev. Jesse E. Wolf, will officiate at funeral services on Sunday at 2 PM at the Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E. Market St. Burial will be in the Lutheran cemetery Glen Rock. age 71 years 10 months 14 days.
