Harry W. Rafuse, 81, Bridgewater, died April 25, 1993, in Hillside Pines Home for Special care, Bridgewater. Born in Pleasantville, he was a son of the late R. Allan and Harriette (Crouse) Rafuse. He was parts manager for many years with Hebb Motors Ltd. and a manager with Western Tire and Auto, until retirement in 1979. He was a former member of Bridgewater Curling Club; honourary member of Bridgewater Fire Department; and charter member of Knights of Columbus, Council 6417, where he served as treasurer for many years. He is survived by a brother, Allen, Smiths Falls, Ontario; three sisters, Amy (Mrs. Berne Bell), Bridgewater; Vera (Mrs. Robert Pearson), Chelmsford, Ontario; Kathleen (Mrs. Ted Anderson), Belmont, Mass. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Mildred Fox; two brothers, James, Percy; four sisters, Elsie, Tessa, Geneva, and Hazel. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Bridgewater, Rev. Joseph McKinnon officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any charity.
