She and Roland had five children, four girls and one boy.
Vella had a great sense of humor along with her girls. They were always making us laugh. She was also a hard worker and a stalwart in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She lived in Idaho all of her life.

Vella Irene Campbell Witters
Vella Irene Witters, 67, of Boise, died Thursday, February 13, 1986, at home of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, February 18, in Relyea Funeral Chapel, Bishop Robert S. Erickson of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will officiate. Burial will be in Dry Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Witters, a homemaker, was born January 24, 1919, at Lava Hot Springs, the fourth child of Fredrick Henry and Violet Morrison Campbell. She married Rowland C. Witters on August 17, 1942 at El Paseo, Texas. Their marriage was solemnized in March of 1955 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in positions of teacher and president of the Primary and counselor in the Relief Society.
Survivors include her husband, Rowland of Boise; four daughters, Andrea Witters, Tylee Kite and Reveta (Steven) Strolberg; all of Boise, and DeEsta (Leslie) Beck of Centerfield, Utah; a son, Steven C. Witters of Bountiful, Utah; three sisters, Theoda Jensen of Pleasanton, California and Leone Wallace and Vonda Arnold both of Boise; and a brother Adam Campbell of Ogden, Utah.
Friends may call today from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Relyea Chapel in Boise. The family will greet friends this evening from 6 to 7 p.m. at the chapel.
