Adam Joseph Campbell passed away Monday, June 16, 2008 at home due to natural causes.
He was born January 9, 1915 in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho to Fred H. Campbell and Sarah Violet Campbell.
Adam worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad retiring in 1969. While there, he met and married Jessye Mae Duke on June 9, 1945.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with friends and his son Rex.
Surviving are three children Vonda (Jim) Huffman, Venita Wood, Rex Campbell and his fiance' Elene Kontgis, 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Leone Wallace and Vonda Arnold.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Jessye, one brother, Duard F. Campbell and two sisters, Vella Witters and Theoda Jensen.
Graveside services will be held on Friday June 20, 2008 at 11 a.m., at Leavitt's Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th St. Ogden, UT. Friends and family may call at 10 a.m. at Leavitt's Mortuary.
