Jocie Helen Bragg

LEIVASY — Jocie Helen Bragg, 80, formerly of Bragg, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown following a short illness.

Born April 13, 1924, at Bragg, she was the daughter of the late Oliver B. Arthur and Bessie Smith Arthur.

Mrs. Bragg was a homemaker. She was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church at Nettie and had lived the past five years at Leivasy.

She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Wayne Bragg.

Survivors include her husband of nearly 50 years, Charles W. Bragg; two sons, Gary P. Surratt and wife, Linda, of Shady Spring and James Floyd Surratt and wife, Ida, of Riverside, Calif.; two daughters, Drema Martin and husband, Kyle, of Leivasy and Marilyn Kosturko and husband, Dennis, of Cranberry, Pa.; 10 grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.

Service will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Olive Branch Baptist Church, Nettie, with the Rev. Stuart Stover officiating. Burial will follow in Goodson Cemetery No. 1, Bragg.

Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. today at the church. Church friends will serve as pallbearers.
