Elva C. Bragg

ABRAHAM--Elva Cecil Bragg, 68, died Saturday in a Beckley hospital of natural causes.

Born April 25, 1914 in New, he was a son of the late James and Katie Radford Bragg.

Mr. Bragg was a retired timberman and a member of a Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Bragg; five sons, Donald Bragg of Prosperity, Roger, Jimmy, Gary, and Carl Bragg, all of Shady Spring; four daughters, Loretta Henry and Wanda Bragg, both of Rochester, N. Y., Fonda Meadows and Mary Meadows, both of Shady Spring; five brothers, Everette Bragg of Beckley, Azel Bragg of Beaver, Euel Bragg of River Rest, Aubrey Bragg of Daniels, and Buren Bragg of N.C.; a sister, Ida Richmond of Shady Spring, and ten grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel in Beckley with the Rev. Harold Underwood officiating. Burial will be in the Goodson Cemetery No. 1 at Abraham.

Friends may call today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Richard Lilly, Jimmy Bragg, Dale, Windell and Robert Arthur, and Wayne and Danny Bragg.
