VIRGINIA L. HOFF Hoff, Virginia L. – Age 74, of Winston, went to be with the Lord, on Thursday, December 30, 1993. She was born May 3, 1919 in Loring, Missouri, daughter of William and Ada (Shaddy) Prock. She was raised and educated in Missouri. She married Lawson Hoff on October 11, 1934 in Missouri. They moved to California in the 1940's. At the onset of World War II, Virginia worked as a civilian aircraft inspector at Norton Air Force Base in San Bernardino California. The Hoff's later settled in Fontana, California. They moved to Winston, Oregon in 1979 to live near their son and daughter. Virginia loved the Lord with all her heart, and served him all her life. She was a member of the Carnes Road church of Christ. She is survived by: her husband Lawson of Winston, a son, Evangelist Minister, Jim Hoff and his wife, Nadine of Grants Pass, Oregon, a daughter, Paulette Roberts and her husband, Dana of Winston, a brother, Edison Prock and his wife, Delpha of Nice, California, three sisters, Wilma Hester and her husband, Harold of Fontana, California, Norma McNealy of Rialto, California, Genelle Harmon and her husband Harold of Highland, California, four grandchildren, Kristi Hansen and her husband, Bruce of Colton, California, Toby Hoff and his wife, Debbie of Kentucky, Nicole and Cassandra Roberts of Winston, five great-grandchildren, Harmony and Melody Hansen, Toby Jr., Steven and Danny Hoff, and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be conducted at the Carnes Road church of Christ on Tuesday, January 4, 1994 at 1:00 p.m. Officiating will be Bert Sullivan, Minister of the church of Christ. Interment will follow at the Roseburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at TAYLOR'S FAMILY CHAPEL in Winston.
