When question on name:
the memorials I have posted in Plainfield are taken from a cemetery survey that was completed 1940's to 1960's by Thomas Packard, he the stones in all the cemeteries in town. He did NOT do a complete reading/listing at Hilltop per his statement in the listing. In add'n to reading the stones, he documented many relationships "using a various records." There are also handwritten notes on many of the entries. I filled in the blanks and linked relationships using on line books like the history of Plainfield and others just doing "google" type search on some of the surnames. This entry is typed "Polly (Packard) wife of Benjamin Gloyd, Mar. 16, 1846, age 80 yr." Then handwritten is an "e" to make her name Polley; and the "6" in 16 for day of death is / out and written in is "5" making date of death 15.
