Germfask resident Mrs. Frederick (Kathleen) England, 97, died on Nov 5, 1988 at the Schoolcraft County Medical Care Facility. She was born on Aug 6, 1891 in Ontario, Canada.
At the age on one-years-old, she moved to Germfask and lived the greater part of her life there. She attended the Germfask Public Schools. Formerly, she was employed at Blaney Park.
On Aug. 24, 1909, the former Kathleen Cornell married Frederick England in Manistique. He preceded her in death on Oct 19, 1950.
She was a member of the Germfask Methodist Chruch and Ladies Aid and Ida Chaper 54 Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include, one son, Leonard of Germfask; one daughter, Mrs. Herbert (Harriet) Musselman of Germfask; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Monday at the Messier-Broullire funeral home. Funeral serves were held on Tuesday at the Germfask Methodist Church with Rev. John N. Grenfell III. Burial was in Rverside Cemetery in Germfask.
