Mr. Munson, who was 91, died Tuesday afternoon after an illness of several years.
A native of Harrisville township, he was a cheesemaker and farmer by trade. He operated farms in Spencer, Homer and Harrisville townships before purchasing a 140-acre farm on E. Smith road in 1900. He retired from farming in 1937.
Survivors include four children, Dr. Chan Munson, a Lakewood dentist; John and Tom Munson at home, and Mrs. Ted McDowell of Medina. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, in 1939, and a son, Blake.
