She was born May 19, 1914, in Mississippi County, the daughter of Hascal and Hontas Clay McCuiston Fox.
On May 20, 1933, she married Bernard R. Dalton, who preceded her in death on Aug. 8, 1974.
She was a secretary for the Kansas Department of Social Services until her retirement. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sikeston.
Survivors include a son, James Dalton; a daughter, Patty Faszholz; three brothers, Russell, Jeff and Ralph Fox; two sisters, Frances Farris and Martha Evans; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
