"It's not just a job. My sons went into that building not to fight a fire but to rescue people, to get them out of harm's way."

Retired Fire Captain John Vigiano lost two sons that September morning, five years ago. John T. Vigiano II, age 36 was a firefighter with Ladder 132 out of Bedford-Stuyvesant. His younger brother, Joe, was working with the Police Department Emergency Services Squad out of Harlem.
