Jessie Lee Pierce, 64, who has lived in and around Pauls Valley all of his life, died Sunday in the Valley Estate Nursing Home. He was born June 1, 1903, at Durwood, Indian Territory.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of the Bob Diggs Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Fletcher officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
He is survived by three brothers, Buster Pierce of Pauls Valley, Lester R. Pierce of Joliet, Ill., and Delbert Pierce of Caldwell, Idaho; four sisters, Mrs. Grace Cooksey of Byars, Mrs. Mammie Young of Pauls Valley, Mrs. Ruth Page and Mrs. Beulah Hudson, both of Oklahoma City.
