ALLEN, Paul C. Sr., 75, of Blacksburg, died Tuesday, March 31, 1998, at his home. Memories of our father's love will always be cherished in the hearts of his six children. He was born in Blacksburg on August 4, 1922, to the late Jesse and Lena Price Allen. He also was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Allen. Mr. Allen was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a longtime member of St. Michael Lutheran Church, and he retired from the Radford Arsenal Power House in 1976. He will be sadly missed by his many friends in the community. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Alice Alls Allen of Blacksburg; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra A. and Wayne Mawyer of Charlottesville and Linda A. and Rodney White of Blacksburg; four sons and daughters-in-law, Paul C. (''P. J."") Jr. and Cecile Allen of Roanoke, ''Woody"" and Patricia Allen of Troutville, Gary W. and Wilma Allen of Elliston and William W. Allen of Blacksburg; a brother and sister-in-law, Everett and Lucille Allen of Homestead, Fla.; a sister and brother-in-law, Edith A. and Stuart Wampler of Fairlawn; a dear and special sister, Florence Allen of Blacksburg; grandchildren, Christopher and his wife, Melissa Allen, Woody Jr. and his wife, Cameron Allen, Yvette and Josh Allen, Michael Mawyer, and Travis and Brandon White; stepgrandchildren, Myles, Emily and Aaron Wallace; a foster grandchild, Ashley Hodges, and a great-grandson, Hunter Allen. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
