Elizabeth was the daughter of Moses Doolittle and Susannah (Susan) Seaman

Elizabeth married William Burdette, December 3, 1840 in Kanawha, Virginia, which is now West Virginia. In 1870, they left Spencer, Roane County, West Virginia to Clay County, Missouri, for a short period of time, before they settled in Parsons, Labette County, Kansas. They were the parents of 13 children.
