Daughter of Samuel Thomas McGinnis and Julia Belle Shrout McGinnis.
Life resident of Preston county. She was a homemaker, married, and aged 59 years, 11 months and 29 days.
Her burial was noted as the 22nd day of July, 1938 (her father's name is misspelled on her death entry).

Her marriage to Albert Teets was on the 20th day of August, 1898 at the Parsonage at Rowlesburg, officiated by A. D. Perry, license issued by Geo. A. Walls. This is recorded in county marriage documents.
In 1900, Minnie and Albert were living next door to her parents, and near her uncle Ami and his family, and the Wm. and Elizabeth Wolfe family; along with the George Shaffer family, the John & Agnes Layton family, and the James & Mary Weaver family, in Reno ED 108, Rowlesburg.
Albert F. Teets died from typhoid fever in 1911.

Her marriage to Ira F. Teets was on the 2nd of December, 1912*. This record gives the birth places of bride and groom as Anderson, with both residing in Preston. The union was officiated by Percy W. Metheny, at the Methodist Episcopal Church at Blaser, Wv.
This is also recorded in county marriage documents.
Ira was a trackman for the Baltimore & Ohio railroad.
He died from cerebral hemorrhage at the age of 58.
The image of WV deaths shows transcription of his birth date as 13 Dec. 1884.
However, the image of WV births shows it as 18 Feb. 1884.

*this date could be a mistake, as the license was issued by the Clerk of Court of Preston county, E. Everly on the 7th of December.

The image detail is of Minnie as a child, and her brother, Arnold. PROPERTY OF THE FAMILY, cropped.

The old lists I received, done years ago, for Minnie were
incomplete and frustrating. These gave number of children as 10, with 8 first names. Only recently was I able to find the second marriage record.

Thanks to all who may have transcribed records to help me give her a family to go with our old image; also to Michael Markwood for finding the grave of Albert.
