IRA F TEETS
TUNNELTON, W. Va., Dec 14 -
Ira F. Teets, 58, native and life-long resident of Tunnelton, died suddenly at his home here on Sunday. He was employed with the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad.
Born in Tunnelton on Feb 18, 1884, he was a son of the late Ezri and Mary G Wolfe Teets.
His wife, Mrs. Minnie McGinnis Teets, preceded him in death.
Surviving are three sons, Staff Sgt. Floyd Teets with the U.S. Army, Pvt Thomas Teets of Columbus, Oh., and Barrie S. Teets of Tunnelton; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Moran of Weirton, and Mrs. Okey Moran of Ambridge, PA; two brothers, William Teets of Charleston, and Henry Teets of Tunnelton, and three sisters, Mrs. Alfred Walker of Dorthan, Mrs. Oscar DeWitt of the State of Pennsylvania, and Mrs. Harry J. Martin of Tunnelton.
Funeral services will be held at the home at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, with the Rev. Job Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Kingwood Cemetery.
