We got Angel from someone who worked with my Mom. Angel came with another dog named Brittany. Some time after getting both dogs, we gave Brittany to one of my Mom's co workers as Brittany was far from house trained and they had property and other outside dogs for her to be with.

Angel stayed with us. She was a sneaky little thing but pretty good too.

She is the center of a couple of stories in the family too.

One night, while Dad and my sister were at work, my mom began to hear sounds like someone banging down in the basement. She thought it was my ex brother-in-law trying to break into the house. She woke me up. I woke up to hear the sound too. It was three bangs and than a stop. Than another bang bang bang and than a stop. My Mom called my Dad at work and I grabbed some dowel rods and decided to head down stairs to the basement. Our main concern was that my 2 year old nephew was down there sleeping alone.

I got to the top of the stair well and yelled down. "Who ever you are, I'm coming down" and so I started down the stairs looking for any shadows as I went. The dowel rods were like a sword to me. In front and ready for action. As I got to the opening at the bottom of the stairs I turned to see the whole downstairs. To my right was the laundry room (very large room), in front of me was the family room. Beyond that was two bedrooms and a bathroom. I inched over to the laundry room and turned on the light, nothing. Still with the dowel rods in front of me I headed towards my parents bedroom and my sister's bedroom and the bathroom. Had not heard any more banging either. My nephew was sleeping in my parents bed. I walked up to their bedroom door, keeping an eye on the other bedroom and bathroom doors. I flipped on the light in my parents room and there lay my nephew, sound asleep. Just as I turned towards the other two rooms there the banging began again. Darn dog had gone into the bathroom and must have sniffed behind the door and shut it on herself. She was banging up against it to get out. She had followed my Mom down stairs when she went to put my nephew into her bed.

Another story involving this silly dog happened on the day of my wedding. My parent brought her with them to my wedding. The night before my Maid of Honor and I went out and got donuts for everyone from a local donut shop. AFter everyone had donuts, we put the doughnuts in the same hotel room as the dog. Lets just say that she helped herself to several doughnuts that morning and left a mess.
