Peggy Joyce Fahs, 12, of 724 West Fourth street, died yesterday morning at 11:25 o'clock at the home, after a long illness. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock at Douglas and Sing funeral home. Dr. John F. Crigler, pastor of St. Mark's Lutheran church, will officiate, and burial will be in Elmwood cemetery. Little Miss Fahs lived with her aunt, Miss Gussie Rhyne. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. J. B. Leake, Jr., and Miss Eleanor Fahs; a brother, Jack Fahs of York, Pa., and a niece and a nephew. Other survivors include another aunt, Mrs. C. D. Withers of Charlotte and Mrs. J. B. Williams of Shelby; three uncles, E. W. Rhyne and Harry Rhyne of Charlotte and Walter Rhyne of Jasper, Ala. Pallbearers at the services will be Jacob Young, Robert Sherrill, Louis Frank, Robert Honeycutt, Robert Biddle and Thomas Bingham.
