Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the First Baptist church for CLINT LEONARD CAGLE, 76, longtime resident of Montague County, who died at his home here Friday.
Rev. J. P. LITTLE of Montague and Rev. GLENN FIELD, Saint Jo pastor, officiated at the last rites. Interment was in Fairview cemetery at Gainesville.
Mr. Cagle was born in Arkansas August 30, 1875 and moved to Texas at age of ten years. He was residing at Rubottom, Texas when he was married to Miss MYRTLE LAWSON in 1902. They moved to Montague County about 40 years ago.
Survivors are his wife; six daughters, Mrs. W. C. EMBRY, Mrs. R.R. PRICE, Mrs. W. E. SPENCER, Mrs. ROSS STICE, Mrs. LEROY EATON, Mrs. H. D. EBRY; three sons, L. E., GEORGE, WILLIAM L., a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
