Charles H. Springborn, 86, Route 1, Pickett, died at 7:45 a.m. today at St. Agnes Hospital.

He was born Dec. 15, 1882, in the Town of Ripon, a son of Theodore and Fredericka Schroeder Springborn. He married Mamie Robinson on April 6, 1910.

Mr. Springborn had farmed all his life, for many years in the Town of Rosendale. He was a member of United Church of Christ, Ripon.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Clifford Sampson, Route 1, Brownsville; three sons, Willard H. of Route 1, Robert C., of the city and Duane E. of Ripon and 12 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife on April 23, 1953, an infant son, two brothers and five sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Candlish Chapel with the Rev. Egon E. Schieler of Ripon officiating. Burial will be in Rosendale Cemetery.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel.

Funeral services for Charles H. Springborn, who died Friday, were held at 2 p.m. Monday from the Candlish Chapel with the Rev. Harley C. Tretow of Ripon officiating.

Mrs. Watson Waehler was organist. Interment took place in Rosendale Cemetery.

Pallbearers, all grandsons, were Spec 4C David Springborn, Danny Springborn, Gary Sampson and Philip Majerus.
